On the 14th of December 2024, The Jamaican sensational Dexta Daps performed in Uganda at the Lugogo Cricket Oval. The show attracted all “tribes” of Kampala’s slay queens including the “famous meat” sellers. Dexta would later perform at the famous hangout spot Noni Vie alongside Ava Peace & Dax Vibes.
What was meant to be a resting day for Dexta the following day turned into a “meat market”. With his room at Four points, Slay queens kept flooding The 5 star hotel to access the artist which security at the hotel found an inconvenience and blocked off all access to the floor that had Dexta.
Afew moments later, Uganda’s dancehall Queen Winnie Nwagi showed up clad in a white long-sleeved shirt and a patra. She was allowed access to Dexta’s room where they approximately spent an hour before they went to the rooftop swimming pool. The poolside was fun as Dexta enjoyed his puffs as Winnie was playing music on a Bluetooth speaker.
However, Ali Alybhai of Talent Africa who had played a part in booking the artist showed up at the hotel and whisked him away to an unknown location which was later understood to be a recording studio where he worked on a project with Elijah Kitaka that is rumoured to be dropping son.
Winnie Nwagi was left by the poolside alone in shame where she later retreated and went to her car (white Alphard) that was in the hotel parking with the driver waiting for her.
